founder & chairman

Simon Orange

Over the last 20 years, Simon has been involved in funding and managing businesses and has overseen the creation and growth of a number of ventures. Some of these ventures have been sold to companies trading on the NASDAQ and London Stock Exchange. In addition to CorpAcq, Simon is a Founder Investor and Director of BOL (a company supplying food products to major retailers) and a Founding Member of Cicero Consulting Group, based in NYC.

Simon established CorpAcq in 2006. He identifies and negotiates its acquisitions in conjunction with our Corporate Finance partners and drives funding, strategic development and partnership.

 
 
 

 
 
 

Chief Executive Officer

David Martin

David leads all operational matters for the Group and actively participates in board meetings of the subsidiary businesses. David has had extensive involvement with the management and financial control of UK manufacturing businesses across numerous sectors. Prior to joining CorpAcq, David held a number of key positions within Nestle UK, Frank Roberts & Sons, Volex and GEC.

David joined CorpAcq as the Finance Director in 2007 and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer at the start of 2011.

 
 
 

 
 
 

CHIEF FinancIAL OFFICER

Nick Cattell

Nick graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick before qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in 2000. Nick moved to TMG Corporate Finance where he gained extensive experience advising on a large number of private equity and private company M&A transactions across a broad range of sectors. While at TMG, he advised on a number of CorpAcq’s initial acquisitions.

Nick joined CorpAcq in 2013. As Chief Financial Officer, he oversees the financial matters across the group and manages the day-to-day relationships with CorpAcq’s key funders. Nick is an integral part of CorpAcq’s acquisitions team.

 
 
 

 
 
 

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Steve Scott

Steve is responsible for the integration and ongoing performance of the subsidiary businesses. In addition to this, he oversees the centralised support functions, including: Human Resources, Health & Safety, and Purchasing. Prior to joining CorpAcq, Steve graduated from University with a law degree, and subsequently went on to hold several leadership roles, including, Managing Director in family-owned businesses, operating in a variety of sectors.

Steve joined CorpAcq as Group Operations Manager in 2012, and was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2016.

 
 
 

 
 
 

ACQUISITIONS & INVESTMENTS

Stuart Kissen

Stuart began his career at Goldman Sachs, before joining Glencore, where he progressed for eleven years, ultimately becoming head of sugar trading, globally. Stuart garnered commercial experience at Glencore, managing a global physical and paper trading book, as well as leading contract negotiations, alongside complementary M&A activities.

Stuart Joined CorpAcq in 2019 as Acquisitions Manager. Stuart’s current role includes leading new business origination alongside structuring, negotiating, and executing acquisitions.
